About Cinnamon
Cinnamon is only 2 years old… but she’s already lived a lifetime of being unwanted. She’s a French Bulldog who was never seen as a pet — only as a way to make money. Used over and over again for breeding, her life was spent in a kennel, isolated, with no toys, no affection, no understanding of what it means to be loved. The only time she interacted with other dogs was when she was expected to get pregnant. And when her body could no longer produce puppies… she was no longer useful. Dogs like Cinnamon are often discarded or euthanized without a second thought. She was this close to that fate. But she got a second chance. Since coming into rescue, Cinnamon has been in a loving foster home, and slowly — day by day — she’s learning what life is supposed to feel like. She’s discovering toys for the first time. She’s learning that human hands can be gentle, comforting, and safe. She’s figuring out how to be part of a family. She’s still catching up on the things she was never given as a puppy. Potty training is a work in progress — not because she’s difficult, but because no one ever gave her the chance to learn. What she does know is how to love. At 20 pounds, Cinnamon is pure sweetness. She wants nothing more than to be close to her people, to feel safe, to belong. She is gentle, dog-friendly, and loves human attention. She hasn’t met cats yet, but her soft nature suggests she’d likely do just fine. Cinnamon doesn’t need a perfect home. She needs a patient one. A kind one. A forever one. She’s missed out on the first part of her life — but with the right family, the rest of her story can be everything she deserves. Cinnamon is currently being fostered in Texas but available to transport to approved adopter in the Midwest, Northeast and Canada. $800 Adoption fee includes vaccinations, Spay/Neuter, microchip, deworming, $300 fee for Transport and vet/documentation requirements in preparation for transport.
