This beam of sunshine is Gus! A little guy who is here because he is deeply loved by people who want to give him a much better life than what they were able to give. He is crate trained, very loving, intelligent, and an energetic pup. So far, he's learned how to sit, lay down, come when called, and wait for permission before eating dinner. He's only a puppy, so he's still perfecting these commands, but he will improve with further training and establishing a routine. Gus loves to play fetch, swing from rope toys, baths, and snuggling in bed (when he's allowed to). He's also a big fan of long walks, a family to love on him, small dogs, and cats. He can be shy around dogs that are bigger than him, but is a big fan of getting to run around at the dog park and meet all the other puppies there. He would do best with a family that has plenty of time to train him, play with him, and incorporate him into their daily lives. If you have any kids or other pets, bring them in for a meet-and-greet, or consider taking him overnight on a Paw Pass to see how he does at your home!
