About Otto

Meet OTTO: A Sweet Soul Looking for His Forever Sanctuary Otto’s journey to the indoors hasn’t been the easiest, but he is proving every day that he was meant to be a pampered house cat. Found as a stray with a small injury on his foot, Otto was initially overwhelmed by the sights and sounds of a home. However, this handsome blue-eyed boy has made incredible strides in his foster home and is ready to find a family that will continue to show him the world is a safe place. His Personality Otto is a classic Siamese chatterbox who loves to tell you about his day. While he is still a little sensitive to loud or sudden noises, he is remarkably resilient; if he gets startled and hides, he’s usually back out by your side in a flash, seeking attention. Once he feels secure, Otto’s true “velcro cat” nature shines through: The Ultimate People Cat: He absolutely adores human interaction and lives for chin scratches and pets. Future Lap Warmer: While he’s still acclimating, he shows every sign of becoming a dedicated lap cat once he settles into a routine. A Perfect Houseguest: Otto has been a dream when it comes to his manners—he has had zero litterbox issues. Food Enthusiast: Having lived on the streets, Otto treats every meal like a feast. He’s very motivated by food, which is great for building trust! Health: Estimated at 2 years old, he is neutered, microchipped, and fully UTD on vaccinations. The Ideal Home Because Otto is still learning how to be a pet rather than a survivor, he is looking for a specific kind of environment to help him blossom: Quiet & Patient: A low-activity household where he can continue his “indoor cat” education at his own pace. Adults or Older Teens: No small children, please—fast movements and loud play are still a bit too much for him. Animal Friends: Otto hasn’t met any dogs while in foster care. Due to his easily startled nature, large or high-energy dogs would likely be too scary for him, but he may do well with a calm, cat-savvy companion. Non-dominant cats may be a good companion too, with proper introductions. Otto is a diamond in the rough who just needs a little extra patience and a lot of love. In return, you’ll get a loyal, talkative, and affectionate companion who will appreciate every meal and every cuddle you give him. ADOPTION FEE: $150. FOSTERED IN UNION GROVE, WI
