About Ruby
Ruby is a sweet, affectionate husky mix with a stunning set of one blue and one brown eye. She’s happiest when she’s right by your side, soaking up your attention and joining in on whatever you’re doing. Ruby has good leash manners and enjoys playing with other dogs, but—like many huskies—she has a strong prey drive. Because of this, she’ll need a home with no cats, small dogs, or pocket pets. A securely fenced yard is essential for this curious, clever girl so she can safely explore outdoors. Ruby’s cleverness really shines: her previous home reported she once escaped the backyard just to knock at the front door and come back in. She’s devoted, smart, and eager to be part of the family action. Because she can be sensitive about some kinds of handling, Ruby will do best in a home with older kids (13+), who understand her boundaries and can interact respectfully. If you’re seeking a loyal companion who’s affectionate, sharp, and always happy to be by your side, Ruby could be your perfect match. Let’s make it official, apply to adopt!
