Izzy is a gentle, easygoing 10-year-old cat who is looking for a new home after her owner had to move somewhere that doesn't allow pets. She is a sweet and affectionate companion who enjoys being held, will happily roll onto her back for belly rubs, and isn't shy about "talking" when she wants a little extra attention or a snack. Izzy tends to be quiet but still has a playful side, especially when it comes to laser pointers and feather wand toys. In new situations or around strangers, she may be a bit shy at first and prefer to hide, but with a little patience (and some tasty treats), she warms up and becomes very friendly. She has done well with children after slow introductions but would prefer a calm home. She was introduced to a house with lots of cats too quickly and hissed so slow intros are recommended. Izzy has great litter box habits and is overall a low-maintenance, loving companion who will make a wonderful addition to a quiet household.
