Hi there! My name is Dukas...and I am looking for a great forever home. I'm a very handsome and loving black lab mix, about 4 years old. I had been living in a trailer with just my dog brother for a couple months while my dad tried to get better. Unfortunately he didn't get better, so his nephew hooked me up with Sandi Paws. My foster parents are great and have shown me that crates can be safe and eating from a bowl is normal. I am fully house trained, not a single accident. I've met their whole extended family and think I might like kids. I just got a little too excited when they came over. I needed a time out to settle down but then I was calm and friendly. I just really love people...all people. I get along good with the other dogs here, too. There are 2, a male and a female. No issues, we're all easy going. I'm just looking for people to call my own, people who I can love and who will love me. Oh, and I should mention when I saw the vet recently they reported back that I was a "perfect boy".
