SPECIFICS Purebred Siamese, chocolate lynx point, blue eyes, 2years, spayed female, 5lbs, with claws. Cat friendly: Yes, with another gentle and fun cat like herself. Dog friendly: No, Dogs would be too much for her. Kid friendly: 10yo, very cat savvy & respectful Special needs: None GETTING TO KNOW ME Devi could not have a more appropriate name(meaning, shining one)! Devi is a shy but sweet Purebred Siamese with piercing blue eyes, a sleek cream coat with blue points. Once Devi is comfortable, this petite girl loves to flirt with people and will break into “elevator butt” from across the room when she is being spoken to. Devi also has the sweetest little meows and carries on full conversations with her people and tops them off with the loudest purr! Wave a wand toy in her direction and it's game on. IDEAL HOME Devi needs a home that is stable, calm, quiet, patient, and experienced and will let Devi move at her own pace. Devi is not a demanding kind of kitty, but the more time you put into her, the more you will receive in return. Being carried around isn't her favorite thing, just yet, and at this point prefers to lay next to people or on top of them. Devi would thrive with an attentive family who's home regularly. She'd enjoy a sweet feline friend but is equally content as your one and only. Cat-savvy and respectful kids 10+, a sweet easy going cat would be fine with proper introductions. Her wish-list includes a long wand toy to practice her prey drive skills, cat trees near windows for bird-watching and cozy spots to lounge with her favorite humans. She is obsessed with human attention once comfortable. Starting out, she prefers to observe you from a safe distance, but she is easily swayed with some encouraging talk, quiet time together and once you get petting, she'll keep rubbing up against you for more. She really loves her breakfast and dinner, which consists of Honest Kitchen rehydrated chicken, canned pates and Churu and that is a great bonding opportunity for both you and Devi. She currently loves the fresh and clean water from her ceramic water fountain. CARE REQUIREMENTS *Feeding: Honest Kitchen Rehydrated Food, Canned pâté twice daily. *Litter: Large, open-style box with unscented clumping litter (one box per cat, plus one extra) *Grooming: Combing once a week with a monthly nail trim. TRANSITION TIPS Devi needs a patient family who understands that settling in takes time—often up to 3 months. Devi will absolutely need to start out in a "base camp" room in her new home, while she becomes familiar and comfortable with her new people and another potential cat, and she will let you know when she’s ready to explore more of the home.
