About King Caspian

Meet King Caspian -- or "Caspy" if you're lucky enough to be in his inner circle. At 1-2 years old, Caspian is what we lovingly call a "Doodle of sorts." Our best guess... a possible Pooghan -- an Afghan Hound and Poodle mix -- though he prefers to identify simply as 100% Good Boy with a splash of mystery. Found as a stray, Caspy is a wholehearted, all-in kind of dog. He doesn't just love his people -- he absolutely adores them! Deeply devoted and wonderfully affectionate, he bonds closely and wants nothing more than to be near his favorite humans. If loyalty had a mascot, it might just have Caspy's fluffy ears. Caspy is balancing puppy energy with growing maturity... and at the moment, the puppy energy may be winning. He's enthusiastic, playful, and occasionally a bit dramatic about it -- but that's part of his charm. He's doing very well with his foundational skills. Caspy is comfortable in a crate, mostly house trained, and eager to keep improving. He may still get a little excited and tinkle from time to time -- but that's simply his heart overflowing. With continued consistency, that milestone is well within reach On leash, he's a good walking companion. However, he does take his self-appointed neighborhood wildlife patrol duties quite seriously. His prey drive just means he'll need a confident handler who appreciates his enthusiasm and keeps those walks structured and engaging. King Caspian is truly a bundle of affection, personality, and promise. With continued guidance, he's well on his way to becoming an exceptional companion -- equal parts elegance, energy, and devoted best friend.
