Meet Jerry! Jerry is approximately 3 years old and is thought to be a Shepherd-type mix who is ready for a new beginning! Unfortunately, Jerry's family had to surrender him because they were not allowed to keep his breed where they lived. We are always sad to see dogs misplaced because of their genetics, but our hope is to showcase just how wonderful he is no matter what a DNA test might say! Jerry is a boisterous, happy boy who is full of life! He loves to explore and be on the go, so his ideal family would be one who is active & involved, and ready to include him on all kinds of adventure! Jerry is housebroken, but please remember accidents might happen while they're adjusting to new surroundings and routines. He would benefit from continued training and he's very smart, so this should be a breeze for the right owners! Jerry can be selective with other dogs. He seems to do better with smaller dogs. He previously lived with a cat and children so he should do well with each as long as everyone is properly introduced & supervised.
