About Lord Clawthorne
Meet Lord Clawthorne At just a year and a half old, Lord Clawthorne is a dashing young gentleman with a classic tuxedo coat and a most charming distinguishing feature—a little black patch over one side of his eye and nose that gives him an air of mystery and nobility. Lord Clawthorne came from a hoarding situation, so the world still feels like a big, uncertain place to him. Because of this, he is quite shy and will need a patient, understanding adopter who can give him the time and space he needs to feel safe. He may not be the type to greet you at the door right away, but with kindness and consistency, he has the potential to blossom into a loyal and loving companion. He would do best in a quiet home where things are calm and predictable. A household with older, respectful children (or adults only) would suit him perfectly, as loud noises and sudden movements can be overwhelming for him. If you have a gentle heart and are willing to let Lord Clawthorne come out of his shell at his own pace, you’ll be rewarded with the quiet joy of watching a timid soul learn to trust and love again. If you are interested in adopting me or another homeless pet at Macomb County Animal Control, walk-in adoption hours are Monday-Friday from 10am-4pm. My adoption fee is $50.
