Beautiful? Obviously. Sweet? Absolutely. Mildly convinced the world should revolve around her? Also yes. Cher is a gorgeous, gentle 5-year-old shepherd with a sensitive personality, and just enough main-character energy to make sure you know she’d really prefer to be the center of attention. Shelter life has been a little scary for her, and she’s definitely more of a soft-and-steady kind of girl, but when she gets time with her favorite people, especially her very own adoption advocate, Cher absolutely soaks it up. Love, pets, cuddles, admiration? Yes, yes, and yes. Cher was picked up by animal control on February 1st, wandering alone, and somehow no one ever came to claim her. Which honestly feels impossible once you meet her. She does well with other dogs, loves being close to her people, and makes a top-notch cuddle buddy. She’s not wild or too much, just a lovely, calm girl who would like to be adored in a home of her own. Cher is heartworm positive, but with proper treatment Cher can live the rest of her life happy and healthy. What she is really looking for is a family where she can feel safe, settled, spoiled in reasonable amounts, and after everything she’s been through, she deserves a home where she can shine and a promise she’ll never have to wander alone again. Cher's $250 adoption fee includes spay/neuter, up to date vaccines, microchip AND transport fee to a location near you. We currently have transportation to CT, MD, NJ, NY, PA, VA, GA, and TN.
