Bowser is a 14 year old Schnauzer mix who came to us as a stray with some pretty severe medical issues. Once we took him in, he underwent surgery to have his left eye removed due to being nonfunctional and painful to him. Unfortunately the eye he still has is also mostly nonfunctional, so this cute little guy can't truly see his surroundings. This sweet (only spicy on occasion) and loveable older gentleman loves to be held and would prefer to live on your lap if you're willing. We do not know anything about his background, but we do believe that he would do best in a quiet and calm home. Bowser sometimes likes to hang out with some of our other dogs out in the dog parks, all of them being about the same size as him. He does have a chronic skin condition that requires regular medicated baths. This small and fluffy fella deserves a loving home with someone who is able and willing to provide the care he needs. A consultation with our vet is required to adopt Bowser. Bowser is being shown to those with an approved application so submit yours today! Our adoption fee is $125 for small breed dogs under 20 pounds and $100 for all other dogs and cats unless otherwise noted in their bio. Every pet available for adoption is current on shots spayed/neutered, and microchipped. You may submit an application online for pre-approval and to set an appointment or you can visit the shelter Wednesday - Sunday from 11am - 5pm. Please note that the kennels close for pet viewing at 4:30pm.
