About Little Buddy

Little Buddy is a petite Schnauzer/Terrier mix with a uniquely resilient spirit. Losing his owner and enduring months of neglect, he made it through an Arkansas summer and landed safely with rescue. Buddy delights in toys, lounging, car rides, and exploring outside—curious about every little thing and always happiest with a fenced yard where he can safely nose around. He shares space calmly with small dogs but will not do well in a home with cats. When treats are handed out, he is polite but gets possessive over toys and may nip, so a home with adults (no young children or grandchildren) is crucial. He loves being cradled and isn’t shy about showing affection, happy to hand out plenty of kisses. Despite having lost several teeth, Buddy enjoys his meals and doesn't struggle with food. Crate training, harness walks, the doggy door, and potty pads are all part of Buddy’s routine, though the occasional accident still happens. Buddy is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, and heartworm negative. His foster can answer any questions about his quirks or needs. Ready to fall in love?
