About Koda
Koda is a 3-year-old male Pharaoh Hound mix being surrendered by his current owner. He has a gentle temperament, though a bit shy around new people or new settings at first. Once comfortable, he relaxes and is affectionate. Koda does well with larger dogs and enjoys playtime with his family's border collie, but he tends to be pushy with small dogs and isn't suited for homes with cats, as he likes to chase them. While he hasn't lived with children, he's housebroken, quiet indoors, and crate trained—though he rarely needs to be crated. Koda is well-mannered on leash, rides calmly in the car, and thrives on outdoor exercise and time with his people. He is medium-to-high energy outdoors, but happy to settle down at home. Neutered, vaccinated, and fully vetted, Koda would make an excellent companion—ideally for an active home that appreciates the breed. They are ready to love you; are you ready to apply?
