About Atlas

Atlas is a 10-month-old Dutch Shepherd and Pharaoh Hound mix in Covington, TN. He’s neutered, microchipped, and up to date on his vaccinations. Atlas is affectionate and very attached to people—personal space isn’t his thing. He’s playful, energetic, and does well with small children. Because of a sensitive stomach, he'll need a special diet. Atlas absolutely loves to play and needs a yard with room to run. With other dogs, Atlas is friendly when food isn’t involved, but he is food aggressive and should be the only animal when it comes to mealtimes. He does tend to chase and roughhouse with cats—not with aggression, but he doesn’t understand their boundaries. Atlas is loyal, loving, and will thrive in a home that can meet his special needs.
