About Brick

Brick is a 15 week old, male Golden Retriever puppy at about 35lbs (for now). Brick's story began with a well-meaning older couple who quickly realized that raising a puppy—especially this much puppy—was more than they had expected. Thankfully, GRRAND stepped in, giving this sweet boy the fresh start he so clearly deserves. Now thriving in his foster home, Brick is everything you love about a Golden Retriever—affectionate, playful, and full of joyful energy. He's a big, lovable pup with oversized paws, a playful spirit, and a soft spot for toys (the more, the better). Brick is potty-trained, crate-trained, and gets along beautifully with both dogs and cats. He enjoys romping with his foster siblings, but when it's time to unwind, he's happiest curled up right beside you. Brick is smart, eager to please, and full of heart. He's ready to find a forever family who will embrace his energy, enjoy his sweet nature, and love him every step of the way, so if you're looking for a devoted companion with a happy-go-lucky personality, Brick is your boy! If you are interested in adopting Brick, please read below the GRRAND puppy guidelines before applying: **** Puppies are a lot of work, and if you are interested in Brick and have children, you should check out GRRAND policies page before you read further... In a nutshell, GRRAND policies stipulate a few important things that may stop you from applying A: GRRAND will NOT place a puppy under the age of 6 months with families with children under 6 yrs old B: Any applicant with children under the age of 16, will require a home with direct access to a securely fenced yard... so this means no apartments or condos Apartments and condos can also be tricky for adult only households, as puppies can be whiny and loud, and may make too much noise for the neighbors as well He will be looking for a home with a fenced in yard and a family with LOTS of time and patience to socialize and work with a puppy so he can grow up to be a good dog! Exercise and direction are a must for him as a tired puppy is a good puppy!! Puppies have boundless amounts of playful energy and need a constant outlet for it! Along with that wonderful puppy breath, comes those razor sharp puppy teeth too, so families must understand there needs to be constant supervision as children need to learn to respect an animal and puppies need to learn boundaries. If you feel you meet the GRRAND puppy guideline requirements, please fill out an app at GRRAND.org
