Tucker is a 1.5 year old, 70ish lb, male cream Golden Retriever looking for a very specific type of family. He is a handsome dude, but he is very high energy and will need to be the only dog in the home. "For Tucker, we are looking for a person or family that is strong and active, home more than the typical working individual, has an above ground fenced yard, no other dogs, and someone who will commit to training and exercise. He has also never been around kids and he does jump on people so no kids under twelve yrs old. Experienced dog people would be best for Tucker since he is very active. Tucker has also been to doggie day care 3 days a week to help with his energy outlet, but if a family adopts him and is committed to plenty of daily activity and exercise, day care may not be as important." He needs to be the only dog as "He is in a multi dog house now, and has developed behavior that is difficult to control in that environment. He seems to be favoring one of the other dogs and guarding him from the other dogs." Tucker is house-trained and crate-trained, but does not use the crate anymore.
