About Ribeye
Ribeye came from a tough start in rural South Carolina, where he faced severe neglect. Today, he's settled into the comforts of foster life, and it's clear what lights him up: belly rubs, butt scratches, suppertime, being nosy about people's routines, and spending time with children and cats. He’s polite, loves his crate (but doesn’t need it to behave), and rarely makes a sound. This big guy is housebroken and well-mannered, with a true soft spot for the big bed and the couch. He does best as the only dog in a home, since he likes to be the boss and is still working through past food insecurity. Families with kids and cats are a great match for him, but he needs to be an only pup for now. Ribeye enjoys the outdoors, aims to please, and picks up on new commands and leash skills quickly. He's getting regular medicated baths to clear up some mild skin and ear issues—which are resolving well with proper care and nutrition. Ribeye is a loyal, affectionate companion who deserves a new chapter full of love and comfort. Lets make it official, apply to adopt!
