Gorgeous youngster Yukon is about 7 months old. He was loose on base way up in the San Clemente area. He's been a bit anxious about being in what must be a strange environment to him here at the shelter, especially after running around loose for who-knows-how-long? ...So he takes a bit to warm up to people and trust them enough to approach him. That's OK, we will love and care for him and find him a forever home this time. He is energetic, of course, --what you expect of a husky puppy. Typical of his breed he needs plenty of exercise every day. Does that fit your DAILY schedule, rain or shine? If so, he'd make a great running partner and you'd both benefit! And he would benefit from doggy puzzles and games for mental exercise, and interaction with his people. A secure yard is necessary, and lots of interaction, play time, training time, and family cuddle time are in order! He would love to be a family's best friend forever, to be treated like a real member of the family, and not be stuck out in the yard like a potted plant. PLEASE do your research on huskies and be sure you understand the needs of the breed before you adopt one. They're not a breed for just anybody, and you do need to be husky-savvy to make for a happy family and a happy canine companion. All dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, flea-treated, and micro-chipped prior to adoption. Call ahead to schedule a meet-and greet! Adoption Fee: $110.00.
