BELLINI has been on quite the journey. As a stray, she was pregnant at the shelter and had beautiful puppies that she loved; BELLINI was a tender, proud and happy mother despite the pain of glaucoma. Glaucoma is increased pressure inside the eyeball, caused by insufficient drainage of the aqueous fluid inside the eyeball (providing oxygen and nutrients to the eye). She had relief after her eye was removed, and fully recovered to be a sassy, loving husky. BELLINI needs an athletic family to take her on hiking trails and beach walks. She likes to keep busy and enjoys a good knuckle bone to chew on, or doggy treat puzzles to solve. She is smart and can learn to pack walk, the rescue will help with training and socializing lessons. BELLINI will love getting cozy inside with her family at night, and during the day hanging out in a yard, if secured with a high fence.
