Meet Blinky - the little terrier mix with the big heart and even bigger devotion At 4 years old and a perfect 18 pounds, Blinky is the total package: Housebroken, smart, affectionate, and just the right amount of playful. Like any girl settling into a new place, she had a couple of accidents early on - but once she learned the routine, yard, and timing, she's been absolutely wonderful. She just needs let out on a regular schedule. In fact, she's so clever she learned to ring the jingle bell hanging on the back door to let you know she needs to go out. (She picked it up from the other dogs - because yes, she's that smart!) She is a bit timid initially but is quick to build trust/confidence. Blinky is what we lovingly call a "Velcro dog." Couch? She's there. Bed? Right beside you. Outside enjoying the sunshine? She's your shadow. She simply wants to be wherever you are. She's a cuddler, a snuggler, and your new favorite little sidekick. She's not destructive and is very gentle with her toys. Give her a yak cheese chew and she's a happy girl. She's also food motivated, which makes her very trainable - and with her bright mind, she'll likely pick up new tricks quickly. With other dogs, Blinky is easygoing and respectful. She doesn't try to dominate, doesn't guard food, and fits in beautifully with her canine companions. She doesn't challenge fences, doesn't dig, and hasn't shown any interest in taking a dip in the pool. She's tidy, doesn't seem to shed much, and has no noticeable doggy odor. She's not yappy, but she will give you an enthusiastic bark when you come home - because seeing her people is the highlight of her day. She politely allows you to put a coat or sweater on her without fussing, making her an easy little lady to care for. Blinky hasn't been around children yet, but given her playful and loving nature, she'll likely do just fine. Cats and crate time are unknowns at this time. She has been fully vetted and ready to go. If you're looking for a loyal companion who will adore you, cuddle you, and happily follow you through life, Blinky may just be your perfect match. Up to date vaccines, microchip, spay/neuter are included in the fee. Once your application has been approved, we will put you in touch with a CAMO representative to set up a meet and greet. We select the best applicant for each dog, based on the dog's needs.
