Cheeky grin alert !! Luna has a great smile and personality to match. Luna is a beautiful young Shepsky, just under a year old. She has a gentle heart and playful spirit. She still has the best aspects of a puppy- being curious, energetic, always ready for fun and eager to learn. Luna has grown up playing with multiple dogs and loves it. So she would do especially well with a playful canine companion. Unfortunately, Luna's doggie sister has been bullying her since she came into their home and has become more aggressive. Her parents decided that Luna rightly deserves a home without that stress. Luna has a good amount of energy and will thrive in a home that can provide regular exercise and enrichment. She can be shy at first meeting new people, but once she is comfortable, she is affectionate. She forms strong bonds and enjoys attention and companionship. She really enjoys playing with the kids in the family and loves being close to them. As a young dog, Luna is still learning and would benefit from continued training and structure to help her build confidence and develop great manners. She already comes when she is called and knows how to sit. She is currently working on the command for down. Luna is also crate trained and will go to it when she is asked! Luna is quiet for her breed but likes to husky talk to you when she is ready to come out of her crate. She has not yet been around cats. There is a resident barn cat she has seen from afar but has not acted interested in. With the right balance of structure, activity, and patience, Luna will blossom into a loyal and loving member of the family.
