Meet Zora! She is a stunning girl who is estimated 1.5–2 year old boxer/pit mix with one blue eye, one green eye, and a personality just as striking as her looks! She is the momma to Etta, Mae, and Lottie who she did a fantastic job with- but now it’s time for her single girl/unattached/no kids in tow era and time to shine! She is very much a typical boxer — silly, bouncy, affectionate, expressive, and absolutely obsessed with people. Zora loves being close to her humans, whether that means snuggling on the couch, relaxing in bed, or following you around to make sure she does not miss a chance to be told she is a good girl. She loves toys, especially stuffies and tennis balls, and chew treats are one of her favorite ways to relax. She also loves to sunbathe, though with her pink skin, her time in the sun has to be limited. Zora has done well around kids, but because she is a jumpy, excitable girl- just like boxers are known to be- so a home without small children would be best. She would do best with an experienced owner, especially someone with experience or knowledge of boxer personalities, as she is not an ideal fit for a first-time dog owner. Zora is NOT being placed with dogs or cats. She is not aggressive, but she never learned proper dog manners, and her overly enthusiastic play style can be too much for other animals. She also has a prey drive and curiosity to other animals as expected with boxers and pits. She will thrive most as the only pet in a home. Despite a heartbreaking past, including coming into rescue with her three babies, Zora has remained incredibly sweet and loving. Once she has time to decompress, her soft, goofy, loyal, snuggly personality really shines. She is truly just a silly sweet girl!
