This little 18# sweetheart is Gracie, she is a Dachshund mix around 10.5 yrs young. Sadly, her owner went into a nursing home, and the family members dropped her off at the scary shelter. We were contacted about her immediately and said yes, we will help this little golden girl. She is a very sweet lady who gets along with other dogs and kitties with no issues. She is still an active girl who may do best shedding a few pounds, lol but otherwise is in excellent health. We had her in for some vetting and she had about 8 teeth removed (a common Doxie thing) and is now ready to come to WI and find her own forever family this go around. She would do good with someone who can get her out for walks and show her the good life. If you know this breed she should not be jumping on and off furniture but otherwise would do good with most homes with either older kids or just an adult home would be good.
