Sherlock is a male black and white Pekingese. Sherlock is about a year old and weighs 11 lbs. Sherlock is neutered, vaccinated including rabies. He tested heartworm negative and is on monthly preventive. Sherlock is ready for adoption. Sherlock came to us as a rescue transfer. He is a beautiful fellow with a playful, sweet personality. Sherlock accepts new friends readily, human, canine, and others. He is affectionate, but not needy. Sherlock is playful and of a happy disposition. We think he would do best with a playful canine friend. He has shown partiality to white dogs but will play with anyone interested in playing. Sherlock has been known to be a little toy and treat protective but just needs to know the expectations and be corrected appropriately. Sherlock rides well in the car, kennels well, is potty trained and walks on a leash. Sherlock would be fine in a home with one human or a family. He would also be fine as a homebody or a companion to go places. He requires regular grooming. Our ideal home for Sherlock would include a fenced yard and a playful dog buddy. Adoption fee is $400. Applicants willing to travel to Texarkana will also be considered with additional requirements to qualify as approved.
