About Ratt
Meet Ratt! This handsome 4-year-old orange gentleman is the perfect mix of playful energy and laid-back charm. With his warm amber eyes and soft, pumpkin-colored coat, he’s as sweet on the outside as he is on the inside. He’s past the wild kitten stage but still loves a good game—whether it’s chasing a feather toy, pouncing on imaginary “prey,” or zooming around just because he can. When playtime is over, he’s all about the cuddles. He enjoys cozy naps in sunny windows, gentle head scratches, and being your loyal companion while you relax. This boy has a friendly, affectionate personality and would thrive in a home where he can get attention, love, and a comfy spot to call his own. Adoptable cats/kittens are spayed/neutered, started on core vaccines per shelter protocols, microchipped, FIV/FeLV tested, and started on monthly preventatives. Adoptions hours (no appointment needed) are M/T/W/F 10 am - 12:30 pm and 2 pm -4 pm; TH 10 am -12:30 pm and 2 pm -6:30 pm, and SAT 9 am -1 pm. To schedule an appointment outside of those hours, and/or to learn more information regarding a particular animal, please call the Feline Department at 410-848-4810 ext 816. If no one answers, please leave a detailed message with your name and phone number, and the call will be returned by end of business Monday - Friday. Adopters can prepare for their visit by being 18 years of age or older, having permission from their landlord to bring a new pet into their household, having some form of ID that shows their current address, and by bringing a suitable carrier to take their new companion home in. The adoption fee can be paid using cash, debit or credit and is based on age: Cats 1 year and younger are $75; cats 2 years to 7 years are $50; and 8 years and older are $25.
