About Stanley

Stanley is a big-hearted, big-bellied senior looking for a fresh start after years roughing it outside. He's about 11 and came in banged up and sick after a dog attack, but has bounced back in full force—now healthy, lively, and eager for all the attention and snacks he can get. Stanley is a playful guy who likes to chase toys and will gently headbutt you for affection before stretching out for a nap. He does great with other cats and thrives in a low-key home. Not a fan of dogs or rowdy environments, Stanley specifically needs a quiet spot without pups or small kids. Medically, Stanley is unique: he’s completely toothless (surprisingly, he loves it and has no problem eating both dry and wet food). He has chronic feline herpesvirus, common among cats, which makes his eyes look a bit rough in photos and can cause the occasional weepy eye or nose. Flares just need a quick swipe with a tissue—no special care otherwise. While Stanley doesn’t have current heart trouble, he does need annual cardiology checks due to a potential risk down the line. Stanley is ready for a forever home where someone will appreciate his gentle soul, quirky looks, and mellow vibe. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
