You would never know that she is missing a leg by the way she moves and run. Ma’am is believed to be a 2 year old Lab/Kelpie mix who currently weighs 48 pounds. Her foster mom describes this gem perfectly: “Hard to explain how special she is .... she mesmerized me! She came right to me, sat down, and gazed up ...staring at me with the most kind, welcoming gaze! I bent down and petted and bragged on her. She looked so confident that she had charmed yet another! Haha. She is just a precious. I LOVE THIS DOG. MA'AM is leash, crate, house trained. Loves the other dogs in her foster home. Has been great with adults and kids she has met. She is far from helpless. A perfect new companion for some Very-Lucky-to-Have-Her New Family. She loves treats, toys, & being included. Knows English and Spanish. She is bilingual! Knows commands. She appears to talk to ya! She also ignored the cats that were in the vet’s office”. Ma’am loves to be dressed up (who doesn’t love a dog wearing a Red Sox jersey). She loves going for car rides, lounging on comfy beds, playing with toys and going for walks. Ma’am is intimidating looking but is a gentle teddy bear. She is not here for you to meet.
