About Smoky
Make their next chapter their best one yet. Meet Smoky (also known as Elsa), a Whipador who embodies both speed and gentle energy. After a year with her current family, Smoky finds herself looking for another chance at a loving, patient home. She’s known for being skittish and fearful of new things, and she may act out with smaller dogs. However, she adores children and gets along well with medium and large dogs. Smoky is house trained and eager to please. With those she trusts, Smoky becomes loyal and affectionate. She knows how to sit, shake, and has mastered the art of fetching a tennis ball. At the shop where her foster parent works, Smoky has warmed up to everyone through gentle patience and tasty treats. While she is cautious and needs time to settle in, her playful, intelligent nature shines as she bonds with her people and dog friends. She can thrive as either an only dog or with another canine companion, provided her new family is kind and committed to helping her blossom. If you are eager to give an energetic, loving dog like Smoky a real second chance, she’s ready to repay you with loyalty and heart. They are ready to love you; are you ready to apply?
