About Ember
Lets make it official, apply to adopt! Ember is a spirited 1.5-year-old, 47 lb Collie/Cattle Dog mix who is eagerly seeking her forever home. She has overcome tremendous challenges in her young life, bravely beating a rare malignant cancer after undergoing chemotherapy. Now TVT-free, Ember is ready to leave her past behind and thrive in a loving environment. A little shy at first, Ember quickly warms up once she feels secure, showering her humans with affection and loyalty. She loves to lean in for scratches, shadow her favorite people, and devote herself as your most loyal companion. Playtime is one of her favorite things—she’ll enthusiastically toss toys in the air, zoom around with fellow dogs, and is always up for an adventure, especially if you have a yard or love the outdoors. This house trained, crate trained, and rarely-barking pup thrives best in an active household that understands her energetic, herding-dog nature. Walks, hikes, runs, or even just a game of fetch make her day. Ember prefers a home without cats and would do best with children over 12. If you’re looking for a sweet, playful, and slightly goofy best friend who’s overcome so much and is ready for her happily-ever-after, Ember is waiting to meet you. Fun fact: Since Ember was born on September 15, she's a Virgo—known for their loyalty, intelligence, and loving nature! They are ready to love you; are you ready to apply?
