About Princess

Princess landed here from PACC with her two housemates when their caregiver lost housing. She comes off shy at first, especially in new environments, but once she knows you, she turns warm and friendly. She responds well to both men and women; with kids, she hasn’t been tested, but her mellow energy shows promise. Princess has done okay with other dogs before, tending toward the dominant side, though she’s clear about wanting to be the only dog around. She’s almost accident-free, uses a dog door, and has solid house manners. Her leash skills are pretty good—she just needs a bit of polishing. She doesn’t have health concerns according to her exam and bloodwork. At around 33 lbs and 8 years old, Princess is a beautiful, soft-coated dog who kept her cool even at the groomer's. Her foster notes she did well with crate time and pre-groom cleanups. She’s fostering in North Phoenix and just wants a home where she can be the only pet. Give her a quiet spot, a gentle hand, and she’ll settle right in. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
