About Rooney
They are ready to love you; are you ready to apply? Rooney is a silly orange girly who absolutely melts for face scratches. She’ll stick her tongue out adorably and completely relax as soon as you give her snout and cheeks some attention, which is especially heartwarming after everything she’s been through. Rooney had to wear a cone for a few weeks after an emergency surgery to treat a severely infected spay site, but her happy personality never changed—she stayed a bubbly, cheerful companion through it all. Rooney shares a special bond with her brother Murphy, and these nearly identical siblings would be thrilled to find a forever home together. Whether they’re wrestling in play or curled up together for a cozy nap, they simply love being in each other’s company and would make a especially cute pair to welcome into your home. While Rooney isn’t the biggest fan of dogs, she might adjust to a calm canine friend given time and patience. Fun fact: With a birthday of October 3, Rooney is a Libra, which might explain her strong desire for companionship and harmony! Make their next chapter their best one yet.
