🐶 Basics o Chippy o Sir Chippy Chip, Chip Storm, Mister Chill ● Age / Size: 10 years old, 18lbs Surrendered in Texas after a family wasn't able to have a dog anymore. 💙 Foster Note Chippy has made a positive impact on our lives by telling us to slow down and chill with him. We’ve met more pups on our walk when taking a break due to his friendly demeanor. He can take a nap anywhere there’s a rug: kitchen, bathroom, office, living room, etc. He also tolerates our hyper pup, who adores him with lots of kisses and nudges to play. He doesn’t always like it, and now they have an understanding of when he needs some space. On our walks, he has started to pick up the space by simply following our dog’s pace! So, he is very adaptable and just wants to hear he is loved. 🐕 Social & Home Life ● How are they with people (adults/kids/new people)? o Very friendly ● How are they with other dogs? o He will let them know if they’re too close or too hyper for him with a soft growl. He quickly got along with our female dog, who is very excited to have him around ● Behavior when left alone or when guests visit: o He went to his first small dog meetup and made new friends easily. When he’s had enough socialization, he asked to get put in the dog bag where he slept the rest of the time. 🎓 Training & Manners ● Potty trained? o Yes, he will walk towards the door to let you know ● Leash skills: o Very good leash walker ● Commands known (if any): o Sit, stay, come, leave it, etc. - all of the basics! 🌞 Daily Life ● Typical day with you: o Morning walk, breakfast, nap or play with our dog, noon walk & training, snack time, nap/play, afternoon longer walk, dinner, couch TV nap, at least 2 more potty breaks before sleep ● Favorite activities or toys: o Sniffing and watching Central Park wildlife o Napping under a blanket o Sitting in the dog bag and observing dogs & people o Running around with our dog and getting licks from her 🏡 Ideal Home ● Only dog / With dog / Either: o Either ● Good fit for apartment living? o Yes ● Best type of household (active, moderate, calm): o Calm-to-Moderate o He is very adaptable and wants to explore more INTERESTED IN ADOPTING?
