He has an independent streak that shows in his love for exploring and figuring things out on his own, but he balances that nicely with a calm, affectionate nature. He's the kind of puppy who can happily entertain himself with a toy-and then quietly wander over for some love when he's ready. Simba is thoughtful and easygoing, taking in the world at his own pace. While he enjoys his independence, he also appreciates gentle affection and close companionship. His sweetness shines through in the way he connects with people, offering soft cuddles, relaxed companionship, and loyal puppy presence. In his foster home, Simba has been respectful of adult dogs (both small and large) and has done well around older children (8+). He's currently working on crate training, potty training, and leash skills, and he's already off to a great start-he knows how to "sit" and patiently wait for meals, showing off his smarts and eagerness to learn.
