About Onyx
They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now! Meet Onyx, a young pup full of playful and curious energy who’s ready to meet his forever family. Onyx is about 8 months old and recently finished an impressive board and train program in Oklahoma, where he built a solid foundation in leash walking, heeling, and basic obedience. He’s an affectionate, loyal companion who sticks close to his person and is always eager to settle near you at home. Although Onyx was previously adopted, he was returned due to reactivity toward new people and other dogs, stemming from his low confidence. Thanks to dedicated training, Onyx now handles public spaces with much more confidence, demonstrating neutral behavior with guidance. He is highly food motivated and thrives with structured guidance. His adopter or foster should be ready to provide ongoing structure and continue his training journey, as he comes with lifelong support including weekly group classes and one-on-one sessions in Tulsa and OKC. Onyx is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and house trained. Born August 1, Onyx is a proud Leo—known for their brave and loving personalities! Give them the home they have been waiting for.
