Seraphina has been through more than any dog should. She came to us after being confiscated by our humane agent, along with other dogs, who had been left abandoned in their crates. Because of this, the shelter environment has been especially overwhelming for her, and she's still learning that the world can be a safe and kind place. At first, Seraphina may be unsure and hesitant with new people-and that's okay. She's looking for a patient, understanding person or family who will give her the time and space she needs to feel secure. Building trust with Seraphina won't happen overnight, but for someone willing to go at her pace, the reward is incredibly special. Once she begins to feel comfortable, Seraphina's personality starts to shine. She has a playful, silly side that comes out with those she trusts, and it's clear there's a sweet, loving dog just waiting to bloom. She just needs someone to show her that people can be gentle, safe, and full of love.
