Shari came to us as a stray in pretty rough shape and heavily pregnant. Sadly, all of her pups were stillborn, most likely because she was uncared for, malnourished, and not healthy enough to carry a litter. Despite how bad her life had been before arriving at HES, Shari is still so loving. While initially very timid, she is blossoming right before our eyes, becoming more confident, trusting, and playful. She is a quick learner as well, already knowing Sit and Shake. She's also beginning to take an interest in toys, especially those that squeak, but her favorite thing is to be loved on. Her former foster adds, "She has the cutest personality....sticks to one of us like velcro. If one of us leaves the room, she takes our seat." We have no doubt she will be your loyal and loving companion for life.
