About Bentley
Bentley – ID #18020 – Kennel #322 Arrived April 4th – Yorkshire Terrier/Maltese Terrier Mix – White – Male – 15 years old – 10 lbs – Neutered – Up to date on vaccines – Heartworm negative Meet Bentley — a precious, fluffy white Yorkshire Terrier and Maltese mix who spent 15 years being loyal and devoted to the only family he ever knew, only to be brought to the shelter when he needed them the most. The reason given was that they did not want him to die at home. This little boy gave his whole heart and his whole life to his people, and now he finds himself alone in Kennel #322 at 15 years old, trying to make sense of a world that has turned upside down. If there was ever a dog who deserved better, it is Bentley. And yet — this remarkable little boy still has plenty of pep in his step. He loves treats, adores being a lap baby, and is good with dogs, cats, and children alike. He is crate trained and everything about him says he was raised with love and care. Bentley is not a dog who has given up — he is a dog who is still showing up every single day with everything he has, and he deserves someone who will do the same for him. Fifteen years of loyalty, love, and devotion deserve to be honored — not abandoned. Bentley should be spending his golden years exactly where every good dog deserves to spend them — curled up on a warm lap in a home filled with love, safe and cherished for whatever time he has left. Instead he is in a shelter kennel, and that simply should not be. If you have room in your heart and your home for the most deserving little soul at this shelter, please come meet Bentley in Kennel #322. He has already proven what an incredible companion he is — fifteen years of proof, in fact. All he is asking for is one more chance to be loved the way he has always loved — completely, unconditionally, and with everything he has. Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers.
