Meet Penny This tiny little lady may only be 8 pounds, but her love for her person is HUGE. Penny is an 8-year-old Chihuahua with a soft, shy nature who truly shines once she feels safe. While she can be a bit reserved at first, give her a little time and you'll quickly find her curled up right where she belongs-on your lap Penny is the definition of a velcro dog. In true Chihuahua fashion, she prefers being the center of attention for her person and would happily spend her days snuggled up by your side. She does get along with other dogs, but she'd much rather bond closely with her human than share the spotlight. Because of her sensitive and timid personality, Penny would do best in a quiet home without small children, where she can relax and feel secure. She is housetrained, crate trained, and finds comfort in having her own cozy space when needed. Penny does have a small heart murmur, but it is currently being monitored and does not require medication at this time, nor has it caused any heart damage.
