He came to us from the San Bernardino City Shelter and is currently thriving in his foster home in Canoga Park, winning hearts throughout the San Fernando Valley. Cooper is the quintessential Husky: opinionated, talkative, and full of personality. He’ll greet you at the door and narrate his walks, making sure you know exactly how he feels about dinner timing. This affectionate boy is a love bug who enjoys giving kisses and is great with children. Impressively, he’s also easygoing, not mouthy, and doesn’t resource guard. While Cooper is good with most dogs, he can be a little choosy about his friends. He’s shown curiosity toward cats, so with an experienced owner and gradual introductions, he might fit well into a cat household. He’s crate trained, healthy, neutered, and up-to-date on vaccinations. He should not be crated for more than 2 to 4 hours at a time. Since he’s still in his puppy phase, he needs an active home with regular walks—aim for 3 to 4 miles each day.
