At about 8 months old and 30 pounds, she is continuing to grow and will likely reach 20–40 pounds when fully grown. She has a wonderful balance of curiosity and sweetness, and she’s eager to learn about the world around her. Diva’s early life was not easy. During the first months of her life, she was confined to a small box before finally being rescued. Because of that difficult beginning, she is still learning what it means to feel safe and secure. Each day she discovers something new — that meals arrive regularly, that gentle hands offer comfort, and that kindness is something she can trust. Despite her past, Diva’s gentle spirit continues to shine. She enjoys being close to the people she trusts and forms deep, meaningful bonds with her caregivers.
