About Velmira
Velmira wound up in our care after she was discovered meowing for help from the rooftop of an apartment building. Sheâd climbed up, realized she had no way down, and wasnât shy about letting the world know. With some teamwork from a trapper and a helpful stranger, she finally made her way off the roof and into safety. Contrary to what you might expect with a community cat, Velmira didn't show any feral tendenciesâshe was calm enough to settle in with us and seemed content with the transition. Born on May 25th, Velmira is a Gemini, which might explain her adventurous streak and occasional mischief. Sheâs now safe, secure, and ready to find her next home after quite the rooftop rescue.
