About King Kong
They are ready to love you; are you ready to apply? King Kong is a Hermitage alumni who has experienced more than his fair share of change. After his owner sadly passed away in April 2025, a kind neighbor welcomed him and his housemate for several months before he returned to the shelter in November. This magnificent orange and red cat was understandably a bit uncertain at first, but it didn't take long for his confident, charming personality to shine through. Now, he can often be seen strutting proudly around the senior room, walking right up to greet people, as if to say, "Hello! I see you're here to pet me!" It's hard to resist such a welcoming cat, and everyone is quick to oblige. King Kong has so many loving years ahead of him, and the shelter staff would be thrilled to see him settle into a home once again. If you're looking for a cat with personality and wisdom, he could be your perfect match. Fun fact: with a birthday of April 26th, his Taurus sun sign means he's likely to be loving, loyal, and steadfast in his affections! Make their next chapter their best one yet.
