About Frida

Meet Frida Frida is a 1–2 year old, 8 lb little sweetheart who was rescued from Dead Dog Beach in Puerto Rico by The Sato Project. After everything she’s been through, Frida has proven to be incredibly resilient, and her gentle, loving nature is already shining through. She is a sweet and shy girl who may take a little time to warm up, but once she feels safe, she forms a quiet, special bond with her people. Frida would do best in a patient, loving home that will give her the time and reassurance she needs to come out of her shell and truly blossom. Frida will be flying to Morristown, NJ this May and would absolutely love nothing more than to meet her forever family right at the airport. There is something so special about being the one she runs to after her journey. If she isn’t adopted prior to arrival, Frida will be welcomed into a foster home in the tri-state area where she can continue to decompress and gain confidence while waiting for her perfect match. If you’re looking for a small, gentle companion to grow with and love, Frida might just be your girl! To Adopt: Fill out an application at thesatoproject.org/applicationform. Questions? Email us at adoption@thesatoproject.org About The Sato Project: The Sato Project has been working hard since 2011 to rescue and rehabilitate the stray dogs of Puerto Rico, known locally as “satos.” To date, we’ve saved over 8,000 dogs and are committed to stopping the overpopulation crisis with spay/neuter and vaccination programs. Your adoption helps us continue this vital work.
