About Gigi
Hi, my name is Gigi! I'm a RED pawprint, which means I need an experienced home that meets some specific criteria. Here is what would work best for me in my new home: -Personality: Affectionate, reserved, easily overstimulated -Can Live with Cats: Gigi got along with the other cat in her previous home. She will likely get along with most resident cats, so long as they are properly introduced. -Can Live with Dogs: Gigi tolerated the two chihuahuas in her previous home. A slow and supervised introduction with cat-savvy small dogs would be ideal. -Can Live with Kids: Gigi got along with the teenager in her previous home. She will likely get along with older, cat-experienced kids (12 years and up), so long as they respect her boundaries. -Needs Indoor Only Home: Yes, Gigi is used to living indoors. She also has a flea allergy, which would prevent her from going outside. -History of Litter Box Issues: None -Energy Level: Moderate -Bite History: None -Needs Medical Procedure Before Going Home: Yes, a spay and microchip. Additional Information: Meet Gigi, a sweet and spicy cat who is looking for her forever home. She came to the shelter with skin issues due to a flea allergy, so she can be a bit sensitive to touch. However, with regular flea treatments she can be a playful and affectionate companion. If you think Gigi the cat for you, adopt today! If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an application on our website (www.whatcomhumane.org/adopt) or in person at our facility. We recommend calling into the shelter after your application has been submitted so our front desk can give you next steps on our adoption process.
