About Grimbold
Meet Grimbold, the 10 week old pug puppy! Grimbold was surrendered to the Shelter after being a product of an unplanned litter. Have you always wanted a pug puppy but don’t know where to turn! Well, now is your time to adopt the breed of your dreams and adopt from your local animal Shelter. Grimbold came in with his three siblings. He was described by her previous guardian as friendly and lived with children ages 12 to 18 years old. Grimbold does not have any history with animals outside of her siblings and parents. A home with other animals may be a fit with a slow, thoughtful introduction. Grimbold is a typical 10 week old puppy – needing a patient adopter with lots of time to put into a young puppy. He is still perfecting potty training, life skills and manners, as well as age-appropriate socialization. Although cute as a button, Grimbold will need his people to be on their toes to help her grow into a well rounded adult canine. Grimbold is available for preadoption - come meet him, fall in love and take him home after his neuter surgery! The Santa Cruz County Animal Shelter Foundation is now offering “Pawsitivity Bucks” with every dog adoption. This $200 training voucher is a way for newly adopted canines and their guardians to connect with local positive reinforcement based behavior consultants and get their relationship started off on the right paw! Please note: Our Santa Cruz location’s Shelter hours are 11-6pm, 7 days a week! Although clients can walk through and see any animals in their kennels during open hours, we end “meet and greets” (aka meeting an animal out of the kennel) at 4:30pm every day. If you’d like to meet an animal out of the kennel, please arrive before 4:00pm to allow for time to discuss individual animals and meet them.
