Meet Lelani, a stunning young tortie with a personality as vibrant as her coat. At around 8 months old, she's already proven just how resilient and loving she can be. Lelani came from a surrender situation with over 30 cats and kittens, but despite her crowded beginnings, she absolutely adores people and craves one-on-one attention. This affectionate girl doesn't wait around for love-she'll happily climb right up your pant leg just to curl into your lap and soak up all the pets she can get. While she enjoys toys and playtime, nothing compares to being close to her humans. Lelani is a beautiful black and tan tortie with a charming patch of white on her chest and belly, making her as eye-catching as she is sweet. She does have a mild form of Cerebellar Hypoplasia (often called Wobbly Kitten Syndrome), which gives her a little wobble in her back legs-but don't let that fool you. It doesn't slow her down or dampen her spirit one bit. She gets around just fine and lives life to the fullest. Her experience with dogs is unknown, though she has shown curiosity when hearing one bark, which could be a promising sign for future introductions. Lelani is truly a special kitten-full of love, determination, and personality. She's ready to find a home where she can be cherished, cuddled, and admired for the wonderfully unique girl she is. ---- Want to adopt a kitten? We highly recommend you consider bringing home two instead of one! Adopting kittens in pairs has been proven to be beneficial for cats' emotional and behavioral well-being and greatly improves the likelihood of long-term adopter happiness as a result. Adopting more than one kitten also reduces the risk of "Single Kitten Syndrome" (also known as Tarzan Syndrome), a symptom of under-socialization during a kitten's most formative weeks. Kittens who are under-socialized may develop aggressive tendencies toward both other animals and humans as they grow, creating lifelong behavioral issues for owners.
