Maybell is a gorgeous short hair torbie girl. She is very dainty, small, and careful. Maybell came from a hoarding situation where people were scary but other cats were the best! This has continued in her foster home; she immediately loved her housemates but people were scary; Maybell continues to be a bit cautious but is coming around. She will come out when strangers are over, or kids, but is slow to trust them with petting. She needs confident, cat friendly cat friends in her forever home, she is also totally great with cat-friendly small dogs. She is truly a "cat's cat!" Maybell will eventually trust her people but will take time and patience. She may also be the cat for you if your cats need friends but no one will know you have an extra cat, at least until she's comfortable in your home. She is a sweet girl and if you know how to handle a non-cuddly, non-lap, "indoor feral" cat. She has great potential to be a fun housemate for another sweet cat or cats. She loves to play, and sleep alone in a warm blanket on your bed or the couch, and enjoys treats. She also consistently has a slightly grumpy face due to a boo-boo received when animal control was trapping cats in her home. She is fully healed but does have a small scar, it doesn't affect her vision or need for pet scritches.
