About Buddy
Zz Buddy is a two-year-old Labrador Retriever known for his sharp mind, affectionate nature, and a need for closeness that makes him a first-rate snuggle companion. He loves his toys, happily oscillating between play and napping at your side. Since being adopted about six weeks ago, Zz Buddy has mastered the basics of training and responds well to direction, showing a keen attention to his person. While he did not benefit from much early socialization and came from a background of neglect and starvation, Zz Buddy has made tremendous progress in a loving home—he’s now a healthy, content dog who will reward patience and consistency with devotion. Zz Buddy has a strong loyalty streak and does best as the only dog in a household. He can show selective aggression towards other dogs, so a solo pet home is mandatory. With humans, his protective side quickly gives way to cuddles, especially when introductions start outside. He's warming up to guests after the initial meet. Zz Buddy deserves someone willing to continue his training and social journey. Fall for him, and he'll show you the depth of his companionship. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
