One of my favorite things in the world is snuggling up on a warm lap. I’m a total cuddle bug and love being close to my people. I also get so excited when my foster mom comes home at lunch with my tail wagging, whole body wiggling, because it means I get to go on a fun walk with her and my foster siblings. It’s the best part of my day! Well, except maybe bedtime because I love sleeping in my foster mom’s bed with one of my foster siblings. I’m also learning my basic commands, but I’ll need a patient and loving person who will keep working with me so I can be my very best self. All our dogs are spayed/neutered (if six months and older), up to date on rabies and distemper, heartworm tested, and microchipped. Other medical needs diagnosed while in foster care are also treated prior to adoption. MABTR requires a fenced in area from families who own their home, however we DO adopt to apartment complexes and communities where fences are not permitted due to leases and covenants. In these cases a leash law must be enforced. We do not accept invisible fencing. MABTR only adopts to families residing in NE, CO, MO, KS, IA, WY, SD, ND, ID, UT, MT, MN, and NW AR due to the lack of volunteer support in other states, no exception even if you are willing to drive.
